Hi, my name is Starr.

I'm a sweet 2-1/2-year-old girl and I finally found someone to love me and keep me safe forever. You see, I had a home once. My owner even had me fixed. But things changed and before I knew it, I was on the street trying to fend for myself. Things were going okay until someone decided to hurt me. They picked me up and dropped me on a fire. My stomach and paws were horribly burnt and my whiskers were singed and crinkled from the heat. I was in bad shape when Animal Control found me. Friends of Long Beach Animals had me hospitalized for my injuries and luckily my fur even grew back. All the doctors and staff told me what a good patient I was. They said they were so impressed at how I stayed so sweet throughout the whole ordeal.

And now I am one happy feline!
